We will use Slack to make additions and changes to the schedule.<\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Each person signs up to work on two chapters.<\/li>\n<li>All chapters have a maximum of three\u00a0people; some have a maximum of 2.<\/li>\n<li>We do not cover\u00a0chapter 5 in JTG. Instead, an intrepid group will find some worthy non-western mathematics for us to explore. It counts for you as a &#8220;chapter&#8221; though.<\/li>\n<li>Each person should choose\u00a0one early chapter (2-6) and one late chapter (7-11).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>There are also dates reserved for Show and Tell.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Pairs sign up for short (25 min.) teaching sessions, two sessions per &#8220;Show and Tell&#8221; day.<\/li>\n<li>Each pair will find a topic to share with us. Topics can be mathematical, historical, from literature, etc. but each must have significant connections to math.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><b>Tuesday Class<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> &#8211; Group presentation of the main theorem and other material from\/related to a chapter of JTG.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Thursday Class<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> &#8211; General Discussion of the material\/context from a chapter of JTG, have read any <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">other<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> readings indicated for the day, discussed topics online, etc.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Sunday by 11PM &#8211;<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Turn in your reading assignment and any homework that is due.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>Note<\/em>: A few group presentations are on Thursdays. You should regularly check our detailed schedule in G.
